Entity Powers and Duties, Activity Summary
The Board administers programs for campaign finance disclosure for state elections, economic interest disclosure for state public officials and local officials in metropolitan governmental units, lobbyist registration and disclosure, and public subsidy of state candidates and political party committees.

ACTIVITY SUMMARY

Administers state campaign finance, lobbying, and disclosure laws. Operates a website, cfb.mn.gov, to provide public access to filed data, program information, and other resources. Provides training and support to candidates, party units, political committees and funds, lobbyists, and others regulated by statutes that the Board administers.
