Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA)

Position Description

Governor Tim Walz will be appointing a member to represent retired annuitants on the PERA Board of Trustees. The Trustee appointed to this position will serve a four-year term.

The association provides retirement, survivor, and disability benefits for public employees of county and local government. Management of the public employees retirement fund is vested in a board of trustees.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday in each of the following months: February, April, May, June, August, October & December.
