The Teen Driver Safety Commissioner's Advisory Task Force will advise and provide input to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) on teen driver issues with the goal of reducing crashes, injuries, and deaths involving teen drivers. The task force will identify the strengths and needs of teen driver safety programs and initiatives, and recommended strategies to enhance them. The task force will focus on three areas:
1. Novice drive education and parental awareness programs
2. Driver licensing, including graduated driver's license laws and testing
3. Other initiatives designed to reduce crashes, injuries, and deaths involving teen drivers.

Provided feedback to DPS Commissioner regarding legislative proposals for on-line driver education and third-party driver license testing.
