The advisory task force was created by the Legislature to advise the commissioner of Health on the health status and health care services/needs of MCH populations in Minnesota on the use of MCH funds for services through MDH; and the priorities for that funding.
ACTIVITY SUMMARY
The task force provides ongoing advice to the commissioner of Health on the health issues and status of women, mothers and children, and their health service needs, including children and youth with special health care needs. Members of the task force represent consumers, public entities and non-profit organizations. Members work in the fields of education, medicine, public health, social services and health care administration and are also consumers of health care and health care services.
